crappy day

today for some reason has been very depressing. it's been raining all day, and there has been almost nothing to do except play on the computer or watch tv. the only problem with that is that vincent is almost always on the computer, and we don't have cable tv, so the daytime shows are really boring.

actually, even this week has been very boring. none of my friends have been able to come over or hang out with me somewhere, so i've had nothing to do. what would really be cool is if i had my friends on like, some kind of a schedule, so that no matter what, i would always have a friend over. that way, i would never be bored.

tonight, we are going to get some pretty bad storms that are coming off of hurricane emily. we're supposed to get LOTS of rain, and tornados all around the city. the only thing that sucks is that they may last for like, 1 or 2 days, so we might be without power during that whole period. but, then again, we hardly ever get good thunderstorms down here, so i will enjoy watching them.

mom rented out the pacifier and miss congeniality 2 sunday. they were both pretty good. my dad said that he gives the pacifier a 10, and he said it was one of the funniest movies he's seen in a while. i think that's pretty good, especially coming from him. we're watching miss congeniality tonight as a family (i am the only one who's seen the whole movie), so i'm wondering what he's gonna say about that.

last night, i had to babysit a little three-year old demon. she would just not listen to me. last night was supposed to be family night (we were going to watch the pacifier together), but at the last minute i got a phone call from a lady asking me to babysit. i went down to the park with her, and her mom said that i'd only have to be there for an hour. but, even after two hours of being at the park, she didn't want to go home. it was about 8:00 at night, and i hadn't even had my dinner yet, and i was starving. the worst part of that is that she was carrying around a bag of fritos, and she wouldn't share any with me. when i finally put my foot down and told her that she needed to go home, she refused to and ran the other way. i had to chase after her, pick her up, and try to carry her home. she was crying, and kicking and hitting and screaming. it was just impossible to hold her. i don't know how i managed, but i did. by the time i finally finished walking home, they had already gotten a ways into the movie, AND, on top of that, they had eaten all of the dinner that i was just dreaming of when i was down at the park! but, i ended up just eating a salad.

i almost can't wait until school starts so i can get out of this stupid house!

Why not attempt to read a good mystery? It's a great time user.

i really do like to read, but we don't have any books around here that i haven't read, and i haven't gone to the library in ages.
